Tied to the origins
Els Casals offers cuisine from the land in which the majority of products come from its own or nearby farms: the vegetable and fruit products, eggs, milk and derivative products, poultry, pork, mushrooms, truffles, etc. This means the cuisine is highly dependent on the seasonality of the product, which is always treated with the highest respect so that all qualities can be appreciated and enjoyed in the best conditions.

Menu Ă  la carte
Little Menu
It is a selection of the best, freshly prepared, whether from near or far. Includes two aperitifs, four main dishes and two desserts. Cost €64 per person (including VAT, drinks separate).
The Land
A set menu conceived for appreciating the smaller things in our daily lives. All the products are prepared in-house or from producers and harvesters in the area. Includes three aperitifs, seven main dishes and two desserts. Cost €78 per person (including VAT, drinks separate).

HISTORY
A family project
The Rovira family opened the doors of the Els Casals restaurant in 2000. Since the beginning, the establishment has been linked to the family agricultural operations and farm, Cal Rovira. The family works together to make the closed circles philosophy a reality. Humble and rigorous, authentic and open, farmers and chefs bring the best of the orchard, forest and farm to the table. Oriol Rovira is at the front of the project, although the initiative would not have begun and advanced without the drive and initiative of the entire Rovira family (Dolors, LluĂ­s, Carme, Jordi, Miquel, NĂşria, etc.), and without the participation of an entire team of people committed to our vocation.
LA CARTA DE VINS
Vins de tot arreu
La nostra carta de vins, que s’actualitza periòdicament, inclou més de 200 referències, la major part de les quals són de denominacions d’origen dels Països Catalans. El motiu d’aquesta tria és clar: anem a buscar el producte més proper a casa nostra. No obstant, també hi ha una representació de vins procedents de diferents zones geogràfiques de la Península Ibèrica, així com França i Alemanya. A l’hora de confeccionar la carta tenim molt en compte qui som i la nostra filosofia de tancar cercles. Nosaltres criem, elaborem, cuinem i servim el producte amb el màxim respecte. I volem que el procés de producció dels nostres vins sigui similar. Per això la gran majoria de productors amb qui treballem estan al capdavant d’una empresa petita, normalment familiar, tenen la seva pròpia vinya i elaboren un producte de màxima qualitat. També hi ha excepcions, tenim alguns vins de grans productors que són meravellosos i que també han d’estar presents a la nostra carta.


La DO més propera i més representada a la carta és la del Pla de Bages. Un vi que no falta mai al nostre celler és el Matacans de Solergibert (DO Pla de Bages), un Merlot 100x100 exclusiu per a Els Casals que es cultiva a Artés (Bages). Per a nosaltres és el vi de la casa.
