Els Casals was a country house dedicated to agriculture and farming, known as a masoveria, until the end of the 1980s. In 1994, the large fire that destroyed a large part of the BerguedĂ  region also affected the house, which was later rebuilt following the original structure of the building.
Rustic, pleasant, simple, welcoming, homely... These adjectives encompass the surrounding landscape, our reference when adapting the nine rooms in the house, an old 18th century masoveria in the middle of the country, forests and trails.

All the rooms are external and have a complete bathroom, television, telephone, heating and air conditioning. Of the nine rooms, two have living rooms, especially designed for families with children. Guests can make use of the common spaces in the house, such as the fireplace room, the television room, the terrace and the swimming pool. There is also free WiFi internet connection. There is no high and low season at Els Casals, the rates depend on whether the stay is for one night or more than one night:

10% VAT included on all prices. The tourist tax, which is €0.50 per person per night (including VAT), is separate.
Half board includes the room, breakfast and a meal in the hotel, whether lunch or dinner. Full board includes the room, breakfast and two meals in the hotel (lunch or dinner). Water and coffee are included with the meals, wines are separate.
From the first day, Els Casals’ kitchen offers an exclusive menu for hotel guests. There is a choice of two entrées, two main courses and desserts. The aim is to provide an option that enables children and adults to enjoy the products and preparations with recipes handed down from our grandmothers. The cuisine is traditional and simple, prepared fresh every day. In parallel, there is also the option to dine in the restaurant. It is the same cuisine, the same chefs and the same products, but with another vision.

Els Casals is in the town of Sagàs, in the region of Berguedà, very close to the natural region of Lluçanès. Very close by there are sites of architectural and landscape interest, such as Riera de Merlès, Lluçà, La Quar and La Portella.
